One of our regular customers from Moldova once asked me: “How do I create email accounts using GSA SER, step by step?”
It was a good question, and at the time I did not have the answer ready. I had never used the free email creator that is built into GSA Search Engine Ranker. After testing it and checking with Sven, the developer, on the GSA forum, I found it takes less than a minute. It is also something most GSA SER users ignore, either because they do not know it exists or do not understand how it works.
This guide shows you how to create the free email accounts step by step, how to check that they work, and, more important, when they are worth using. I updated it in October 2026.
Quick answer: free email accounts in GSA SER
- In your project, open the E-Mail Verification tab and click Create New.
- Choose a domain (or Random) and how many accounts you want, then click Create.
- GSA SER creates disposable inboxes on a public temporary mail service. They have no password and cannot be tested over POP3.
- Most sites reject disposable addresses, so your verified rate will be very low.
- Use them only on the lowest tier, if at all. Never use them on tier 1.
What are the free email accounts GSA SER creates?
The free accounts are disposable email addresses. GSA SER does not run a mail server itself. It connects to an outside temporary mail service and creates inboxes there for you. When I tested it, every domain in the list belonged to one service, tempr.email, which is still running in 2026.
The list of domains changes over time as domains are added and dropped. When this post was first written in 2019, it held 26 domains, and several of them used free extensions such as .gq and .tk that no longer work. Do not copy an old list. Open the domain drop-down in your own copy of GSA SER to see what your version offers today.
What is a disposable email address?
A disposable email address is a short-lived public inbox. People use them to sign up on a website they do not trust, so their real address does not end up on spam lists. Anyone who knows the address can open the inbox, and the service deletes messages after a short time.
That is fine for one quick sign-up. It is a poor fit for link building, where the account has to be verified and often has to keep working.
Are free disposable email accounts worth it for GSA SER?
In short, no. If you hope these free accounts will stop you paying for emails, you will be disappointed. Here is why.
Most sites reject disposable addresses
Many platforms that GSA SER submits to block sign-ups from known disposable mail domains. The account is refused at registration or never gets verified. Even on our own server we block mail from disposable domains because of the spam that comes from them. The result is a very low success rate, and you can forget about a good VPM (verified per minute).
The mail service can block you
Temporary mail services watch for abuse. If they see one IP creating or checking many inboxes quickly, they block it, and the inboxes and their messages are gone.
Anyone can read the inbox
Disposable inboxes are public. Anyone who knows or guesses the address can open the messages, including your verification links, and can delete them.
| Free disposable emails | Private domain POP3 emails | |
|---|---|---|
| Cost | Free | Paid, from a few dollars for 50 |
| Accepted by most platforms | No, often blocked | Yes |
| GSA SER can test them over POP3 | No | Yes |
| Who can read the inbox | Anyone with the address | Only you |
| Lasts for | Until the service deletes it | Months, with a replacement guarantee |
| Suitable tier | Lowest tier only | All tiers, including tier 1 |
When should you use disposable email accounts?
I do not recommend them, but there are two cases where they can make sense:
- You are testing a new project setup and only need a few sign-ups to see that it works.
- You are building the very lowest tier, where a failed account costs you nothing.
Never use them on tier 1 or on anything that links straight to your money site. For real campaigns, private domain accounts are cheap: our GSA Search Engine Ranker email packs start at $4 for 50 accounts.
How do you create free email accounts in GSA SER?
Here are the steps inside a project.
- Create a project the way you normally would, or open an existing one.
- Go to the project’s E-Mail Verification tab.
- Click the Create New button at the bottom of the tab.

A window opens with two settings:
- Email domain: choose Random to let GSA SER pick, or select one domain from the list. Random is fine.
- Amount of e-mails to create: how many accounts you want. Keep it small, 10 to 20 per project. Asking for thousands is the quickest way to get blocked by the mail service.

Click Create. That is all. The new addresses appear in the project’s email list.

Where is the username and password, and why does the test fail?
This confuses almost everyone, me included the first time. The new accounts have no password and no POP3 server, and when you click Test in GSA SER it says there is nothing to test.
The accounts do work. They are web inboxes that you open in a browser, not POP3 mailboxes, so GSA SER has nothing to log in to and cannot test them.
How to check that a free email account works
- Take one of the addresses GSA SER created, for example
ni***************@******in.ru. - Copy the part after the @, in this case
freundin.ru. - Open that domain in your browser. It redirects to the temporary mail service. Switch the language to English if needed.
- Enter the part before the @ as the username, in this case
nickicallaway4209. - Select the same domain from the list.
- Click Login and Check Emails.

You now see the inbox and can open, read and delete the messages.

Frequently asked questions about GSA SER emails
Can GSA Search Engine Ranker create email accounts by itself?
Yes. Each project has a Create New option in its E-Mail Verification tab that makes free disposable accounts on a public temporary mail service. GSA SER cannot create real POP3 mailboxes on its own domains, so for those you need your own accounts or a paid email pack.
Why does GSA SER say there is nothing to test on the free emails?
The free accounts are web inboxes on a temporary mail service, not POP3 mailboxes. They have no password or POP3 server, so GSA SER has nothing to log in to. You can still check them in a browser by opening the mail service and entering the username.
Do disposable emails work for GSA SER link building?
Only poorly. Many platforms block known disposable domains, so sign-ups fail or never get verified, and your verified rate drops. The mail service can also block your IP if you create or check many inboxes. They are only worth trying on the lowest tier.
Should I use free emails on tier 1?
No. Tier 1 links point straight at your money site and should be your best quality. Use private domain POP3 emails there, and keep disposable emails, if you use them at all, for the lowest tier.
How many free email accounts should I create per project?
Keep it to about 10 to 20 per project. Temporary mail services watch for abuse, and creating hundreds or thousands of inboxes from one IP is the quickest way to get blocked.
What email accounts does Asia Virtual Solutions recommend for GSA SER?
Private domain POP3 accounts with spam filtering switched off, so verification emails reach the inbox. Our GSA Search Engine Ranker email packs come in a GSA-ready import format, from 50 to 10,000 accounts, with a 3 month replacement guarantee.
So, should you use free emails in GSA SER?
GSA Search Engine Ranker can create free disposable emails for you, and it only takes a minute. Almost nobody talks about this feature for a simple reason: the success rate is so low that it is rarely worth your time. The inboxes are also public, so anyone can open or delete your messages.
If you want to save money, this is not the place to do it. You lose more in failed submissions than you save on emails. Use real accounts for anything that matters, and read our guides on reusing GSA SER accounts and building a GSA SER project template to get more from them.
Want email accounts that platforms accept? Our GSA SER email packs are private domain POP3 accounts, delivered instantly in GSA-ready format, with a 3 month replacement guarantee.
