Important Upgrade Notice – All Asia Virtual Solutions VPS users

In order to provide our customers with the best possible services at an affordable price, I am please do announced that Asia Virtual Solutions has brokered a deal for our VPS users, and all existing clients are getting a free upgrade of their VPS

To give you an idea of what exactly is changing with your VPS, i will summarise the changes below in a before and after layout

GSA Search Engine Ranker VPS Hosting

The main changes were the following

Server CPU upgraded from: Dual E5-2640-v3 to Dual E5-2680-v3
Server RAM upgraded to DDR4 RAM – and you now have the option to upgrade the RAM to 16 GB ( or higher on request )
The port speed has been upgraded from 1 Gbps to 10 Gbps
Disk space has been upgraded from 75GB to 100GB Raid 1 ( RAID 1 means we have 2 disk and data is written on both disk, if one disk fail, we do not loose any data )
The VPS software has been upgraded from Windows Server 2012 R2 to the latest Windows Server 2019
Microsoft Security Essentials have been replaced by Windows Defender which is included in Windows Server 2019. More about Windows Defender here – https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/comprehensive-security
CC Cleaner has been removed and we are now using Storage Sense which is included with Windows Server 2019. You can read more about Microsoft Storage Sense over here – https://blogs.technet.microsoft.com/filecab/2018/08/30/9205/
The attached mapped network drives are also upgraded and this will ensure faster delivery – you will now see 3 attached drives (GSA Zoekmachine Ranker Sitelist – Identified, Sitelist – Verified and Proxies ) where before the was 2.
The Servers have moved from Data Centre in France to Data Centre in Netherlands

When Will We Start With The Upgrades

We have already starting with upgrading some users, and will continue upgrading a few users each day. We hope to have 75% of the users upgraded by the middle of this month and the remaining 25% have to wait as we are waiting for additional CPU’s from the supplier before we can roll out the last bunch of servers.

If you are excited and want to upgrade right away, then comment on this post asking you want to jump the line and be upgraded right away, then i shall see if I can squeeze you in at the top of the upgrade line.

So What Exactly Will We Do When We Say We Will Upgrade You

First we will stop everything running on your VPS
Then we will export your VPS, sort of like a disk image of your VPS
We then ftp the disk image from the France data centre to the Netherlands data centre, where the new servers are waiting.
We then restore the disk image of your old VPS onto the new VPS
We then upgrade the operating system from Windows Server 2012 R2 to Window Server 2019
Then we expand the disk space form 75 to 100 GB
If on a GSA SER VPS we will upgrade the network drives, and update the paths in your GSA Search Engine ranker software for link list and volmachten.
If on a GSA SER VPS we will update the TextCaptchaSolver API and SERengines API where applicable
We do all the Windows updates
Enable Microsoft Storage Sense and optimise a few other windows settings.
